Over the years, I've navigated through the complexities of large-scale transformations for global organisations. From deploying customer master data management solutions and overseeing SAP implementations to orchestrating global SaaS product rollouts, my roles as Consultant, PMO, and Project Leader have been guided by a singular mission: Make the transformation a success.

Despite the simplicity of this goal, the reality is anything but. Transformations with multi-year timelines and budgets in the 7-8 figures pose challenges that are often elusive, yet impactful due to their magnitude.

This mission led me down a path of experimentation, observation, collaboration, and structured analysis, seeking the answer to the following question: What drives the success of a large-scale transformation?

The exploration of project management, change management, and technical execution methods led to a consistent finding: Software is made by people, for people. About Myself

Hi, I'm Daniel,

founder of Pathmaker Consulting. For over seven years, I've been at the forefront of large-scale IT transformations, learning that success hinges on focusing on people, not just technology.

My experience spans from coordinating SAP & MDM projects for Pharma & Life Science to rolling out marketing SaaS solutions for FMCG companies. These projects taught me a crucial lesson: technology succeeds when it serves people—both the teams building it and the customers using it.

With expertise in agile and hybrid project management and change management, and a track record of successful transformations, I've developed a method that puts people first. It's about more than just managing projects; it's about leading teams with empathy and designing solutions that genuinely meet customer needs.

Born in Belarus, raised in Cologne, and now based in Vienna, my life has been a journey through rapid changes and diverse cultures. This experience, combined with years in consulting and software delivery, has taught me the importance of balancing technical excellence with a focus on people.
